Cello - Soloist - Classical

A winner of numerous national and international awards, Kate is a solo, ensemble and orchestra performer. She made her concerto debut in 2007 and since that time she has performed in numerous concert halls across UK, Europe and Russia. After receiving BA and MA from the College of Music and a PhD from the Conservatoire, Ekaterina graduated from the Royal College of Music in London. She studied on the Artist Diploma program (higher master) with Raphael Wallfisch. Ekaterina has performed at some of Russia and Europe's leading music and orchestra festivals, and has developed an international performance and recording career as a classical cellist.

As a classical cellist, Ekaterina enjoys a busy freelance career as a solo, chamber and orchestral musician. In addition, she plays a wide range of repertoire, including classical, jazz, latin & pop music at weddings and corporate events.

Her solo performances include recitals in Wigmore Hall, St.James's Piccadilly, St.Martin-in-the-Fields, National Portrait Gallery, Science Museum, Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Arts, Landmark and Mariott Hotels. Other collaborative projects she is playing in include the String Quartet, Piano trios and a Chamber and symphony Orchestra concerts. Ekaterina collaborates with such orchestras as YMSO, Firebird Orchestra, Hastings Philarmonic Orchestra, Fulham Sinfonia, Film music Orchestra and others. Along with this, she is the cellist of the string duo ProArte and a regular member of Giardino Strings group. She maintains an active performance schedule throughout the UK and abroad, regularly performing as a soloist for concerts, festivals, private weddings, corporate events, and filming/ recording for TV and radio.
